Finished! The extensions added the fullness and the lighter strands I needed to finish my ombre style. I’ll probably upload natural lighting pictures once I take some haha. School > Looking Good. Sad truth.

Thought I’d share this recent colour correction, a new client asked for a light ash blond whole head. Her hair had been bleached, then deposited red, and finally, box dyed black. It took 3 separate sittings to get the right colour throughout the roots to ends. Her hair is also down to her butt and miraculously there was barely any breakage, even after running bleach through the ends six times! I adore clients who trust me and do the process slowly. So this is the final result, I’m glad it was what she want despite the time it took:)
Instead of studying finance I decided to play with bleach, yeah gg. This is the first step, lightening my own dark brown hair to and ombre (gradient) of ash blonde, medium brown and dark brown at the root.
Then I plan on putting a lot of ash blonde extensions in the bottom and lighten it up. I really like random curls where it just looks messy and wavy, maybe I’ll play around with different size curlers until I achieve the style I want. Mermaid hair? hehe.
I’ve decided on a new hair style, now if only I could implement it without school smothering me. Bleach, extensions, hair dye oh my! My best friend just chopped a good seven inches off her hair..I must say it feels pretty smooth after getting rid of split ends and overly bleached hair haha. Too bad my balls don’t drop over night, I’ll just stick to trimming my layers and get to the length eventually. I despise the awkward, heavy, useless stage when your haircut grows out and you can’t style your hair to save your life. You girls feel me? Get your hair CUT!
A lot of girls ask me for dannie riel’s hair colour. I think it looks like a natural ash, this is my version of it.

I love going through old pictures. I had a talk with one of my old friends today and although we’ve grown out of our funky hair phase we came to a conclusion that we’d never regret bleaching, damaging and slapping different colours on every few month. I miss being the age where I could and had the confidence to rock the most ridiculous styles. Children, don’t take that for granted..it’s worth the laughs later on.
OKAY HERE IT IS, SHARING MY SHAME!
This is probably my only regret since I had no control over it. Back in the day experimenting and achieving anything that wasn’t black seemed decent. I still remember the day clearly. Twas near the end of grade 9, bestfriend’s brothers girlfriend was willing to do my hair. Oh box dye bleach..so orange and blotchy, there’s a reason its so cheap and accessible. Haha many of my friends fell victim to this dreadful colour. Thank goodness they have me now.
I think my new goal is to find the perfect mixture for a chocolate brown, maybe an incorporation of highlights, lowlights and shadowing?

As you all know I’ve been experimenting with ombre and I think the highlighted sunkissed ends is my favourite. Now to find someone to do my hair harhar. Whats in this winter? Someone throw me some inspiration:)
New winter hair, we had highlights previously done so blending some lighter and darker colours was quite easy. She needed something where roots weren’t a hassle but still keeping a light colour so this was the ideal style. My camera is horrible and the lighting around the house was all wrong so this picture doesn’t do the actual colour justice.
Seeing as the holidays are coming up I’ve decided to do a special!
I love December because its right before New Years meaning time for some drastic changes! Go light, go dark, strip that virgin hair or complete chop it off? Since I am so supportive of altering your looks to face the new year (guilty) I’m going to make the month of December worth trying a new hairstyle.
